FITNESS PROGRAMS

SMART BOOTCAMP

Start your training season off right with Smart Bootcamp. This program is designed to get you into shape safely and injury-free. Classes involved strength training using bodyweight exercises, medicine balls, weights, hills, agility drills, balance work and flexibility. Emphasis is on proper form, with appropriate intensity and recovery to get fast results. Professional instruction by Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach, Janae Noble at Noble Pursuit Studio, an indoor private studio with outdoor setting on the bluffs overlooking Lake Natoma in Folsom, CA. Please bring yoga matt, gloves, water bottle and towel. Session is 60 effective, body-shaping minutes.

Series price (4 sessions) : $120

BIKE SKILLS TRAINING

"JUMP START" CYCLING TRAINING

Course Price (4 sessions) : $150

Join the fun and learn how to cycle in record time! Get fit while joining the movement to save money, spend time outdoors, and help the environment!

Course Includes:

  • Bike skills and drills clinic (shifting, braking, cornering, pedal efficiency, climbing/descending)
  • Bike repair and maintenance seminar (learn how to keep your bike running and fix a flat
  • Bike fit clinic (learn how seat height and handlebar position increase comfort and better riding)
  • How to keep up with more experienced cyclists; the tricks and techniques
  • Motivating Group Format and new cycling friends

BIKE SKILLS: CLIMBING & DESCENDING SKILLS
Saturday, March 27, 11:30 - 1pm

Price: $85

Make peace with the hills! Learn to overcome the hills and increase confidence, power and speed with proper hill training. As part of the Princess Promenade's Metric Century we are offer an optional Time Trial to Beal's Point. To prepare you physically and mentally for this challenge we are offering Hill Climbing Classes which will improve climbing and descending, polish your bike skills, and give you a means to measure your fitness improvement over the previous season. This 90 minute clinic is designed for riders of all abilities.

  • Professional coaching emphasizing power production

  • Free Race - Time Your Climb to Beal's Point
  • Establish proper heart rate training levels
  • Climbing techniques for rollers, steep and continuous climbing
  • How to position your body for effecient climbing

SPRING/SUMMER TRAINING

LEARN TO CYCLE SERIES

Price: $90 per series

The Learn To Cycle Series consist of three training clinics geared for women.. Topics include: Bike & Safety Check, Balance & Body Position, Starting, Emergency Stopping, Riding in a Pace Line & Group Tactics, Improved Descending & Turning, Improved Shifting & Hill Climbing, and Basic Bike Maintenance. Certified, professional instructor. Drop-in rate available for $35 per session (Please Contact Us to check availability). Class size limited to 20 riders.

Please eat a light meal before the session, and bring a helmet, gloves, water bottle, pump & repair kit, and a bike in good working order. If you have not prepaid, please bring your payment to class.
