Preparations for the 2008 Princess Promenade™ have begun! The Princess Promenade™ is a non-competitive cycling event designed for pleasure, bike safety, and fun. This is not a race. Just an organized and civilized event of the highest royal caliber!

Imagine a “promenade” of hundreds of moms, daughters, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, and girlfriends winding along the river, passing each other along a thirty-two mile stretch of the historic Pony Express Trail, now maintained as a world-class bike trail. We'll start near Historic Old Sacramento at Discovery Park, travel as far as Historic Folsom and Folsom Lake with rest stops along the way, returning to Discovery Park for lunch and a Promenade Expo at the finish. You may ride as little or as much as you wish, being a “Princess”and all! Just enjoy yourself!

Pre-Promenade Event: A Royal Evening Under the Stars

You spoke and we listened! This year, we're giving you more chances for networking, shopping, and fun! A Royal Evening Under the Stars is a brand new pre-Promenade event, for your mind, body, and soul. Sheila Moon Cycling Wear Fashion Show, singer and American Idol voice coach Jennifer Hamady, and a delicious catered dinner await you on the Delta King, Historic Old Sacramento. Saturday, October 4, 5:00 - 7:00pm. Tickets go on sale 7/15. Limited to 100 princesses and their guests. $45 per person. Princesses UNITE!

Promenade EXPO

Your friends and family may join you at the finish and attend the Promenade EXPO where women-oriented gear, accessories, fitness and wellness companies, adventure outfitters and a festival await. Additional lunch tickets are available for $10 at the registration booth. Promenade EXPO is Sunday, 10-3pm.
